Meet Marguerite

Marguerite calls herself a Healing artist and Visual artist. As an adult, Marguerite pursued a fulfilling career in holistic health but her real passion has always been art and sketching, she has been doing both for as long as she can remember. Recently her artwork has been making waves with published artwork for the children’s book, A’Marie the Azar by Naamee C. Yisrael. Along with her televised painting of Congressman John Conyers. Behind these two critically acclaimed pieces stands a long portfolio of other drawings for books of poetry, plus a few book cover designs and paintings both traditional and digital. She has over 30 years experience in graphic design and production with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic design from Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Currently, Marguerite lives in the south suburbs of Chicago with her husband Malik and their sons. As long as she continues her holistic work and art she doesn’t feel like she is working, just fulfilling her passions and doing what she loves.
